Who is Rebecca Nay?

A woman with shoulder-length brown hair, wearing black-rimmed glasses, smiling, dressed in a colorful, patterned top, in front of a neutral grey background.

My diverse life experiences have given me a unique ability to connect with my patients and provide a safe, non-judgmental space. I was born and raised in Utah but have also lived in Oregon, Kansas, and Germany. My background includes a past in the Mormon faith, though I no longer practice. I am also a veteran, having served four years on active duty in the U.S. Army and two years in the Utah National Guard.

I have personally experienced significant trauma. My family has a history of substance abuse, suicide, and various forms of physical, psychological, and sexual trauma. As a transgender woman, I deeply understand the feeling of not belonging and bring a unique perspective to gender-related trauma—a challenge that many of us face due to our gender assigned at birth.
